Introduction

The 11^th Conference of Plant Genomics in China will be held from August 19 through 21, 2010 in Changchun. The Conference will emphasize new progresses on plant genomics, and is aimed at the promotion of the development of agro-biotechnologies. The Conference will invite leading scientists and experts in the relevant areas both in China and around the world to present their latest scientific discoveries. Graduate students and postgraduates are encouraged to present their work in the Conference.

The 10^th Conference of Plant Genomics in China will be held on August 19 to 21, 2009 in Chongqing.

The 9^th Conference of Plant Genomics in China is held on July 17 to 20, 2008 in Guangzhou. 

In the last decade, China’s plant biology research enterprise has been developed steadily. Chinese scientists have made significant contributions to sequencing and functional analysis of the plant genomes, e.g. rice, over the last few years. To facilitate the exchange of the new progresses focusing on the plant genomics domestically and internationally, the 8^th Conference of Plant Genomics in China will be held from August 18 to 20, 2007 in Shanghai.

The 7^th Conference of Plant Genomics in will be held from August 8 to 10, 2006 in Harbin . This symposium will emphasize new progresses on plant genomics.

The 6^th Conference of Plant Genomics in China was held on August 17 to 20, 2005 in Kunming, . This symposium emphasizes the new progresses on plant genomics.

The 5th Conference of Plant Genomics in China was held on August 19 to 22,
2004 in Wuhan, China. This symposium emphasizes the new progresses on plant
genomics.
